Recently Charlie Brooker wrote an article for the Guardian in which he mocked the ‘dorkishness’ of early computer games.
In response, Rob wrote a letter to The Guardian, which never saw publication.
The piece been added as an article to the site since it offers some of Rob’s personal reminiscences of the Elite computer game, and writing The Dark Wheel novella which accompanied the game.
